There, he was an intern and staff member of the Center for the Right to Health Care (PDS) where he supported the attorneys and worked with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to resolve legal complaints for the rightful access to medical care.

Currently, Carlos is enrolled in the Paralegal Course in Immigration Law from the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), increasing his knowledge of Humanitarian and Asylum issues, Family, Business Immigration, Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, Removal and Relief, Naturalization and Citizenship. He is an AILA member paralegal.
